How to become a media spokesperson

Course Overview:

This course is provided to educate participants on how all sectors of the media work. The course also focuses on how to deal with journalists and how to become a good speaker. Trainees will be given the most effective relevant skills and abilities to deal with journalists and other media representatives efficiently. The course will also help participants to effectively communicate with the media to ensure that the targeted vision and corporate messages of their organizations are understood, delivered, and maintained by the public and the media.

Course Content:

Topics covered in the course include:
• Introduction to the media: Definition of the media and the role of the media spokesperson in making news and communicating with the public.
• Communication Skills: Learn effective communication skills such as speaking clearly, active listening, and non-verbal communication.
• Preparation and Planning: How to prepare for public speaking and plan content and key messages.
• Physical Expression and Voice: How to use body language, voice control, and tone to reinforce a message and interest an audience.
• Dealing with the media: How to communicate with the media and journalists and express vision and positions effectively.
• Practical training: Practical exercises for public speaking and practicing the skills learned in the course.
