Directing Television programs

Course Overview:

In order to complete a TV show, a great amount of work should be undertaken by Director of the show and Lighting Engineers in the studio, and In order to produce a TV production, we need a large working group, teams and staff of different specialities including light, engineering, display, and decoration engineering professionals, and broadcasters. We also need a solid media material with rich and attractive content, And in order to produce a strong TV content from all these elements we need special skills related to TV Editing and Montage, which shall create a successful presentation out of all such necessary elements.

Course Content:

The course usually includes a variety of topics and skills needed by a television director.
• Principles of Television Directing: These topics explain the basics of television directing, including production organization, planning, and program coordination.
• Photography techniques: These topics include photography skills, lighting, framing, angles, and movement in television directing.
• Directing management: These topics include how to manage a working team, deal with actors and technical crew, and communicate with the audience.
• Creative Direction: Course participants learn how to develop a creative vision for television programs and how to add artistic and editorial elements to improve the quality of programs.
• Video Editing: Course participants learn how to use editing software to produce high-quality scenes and television programs.
• Time and Resource Management: Course participants learn how to manage time and resources effectively to ensure successful implementation of television directing.
