Preparing a media campaign

Course Overview:

A media campaign is the planned use of a variety of communication means and innovative methods to urge society in general or some of its groups in particular to accept an idea, using one or more strategies through continuous efforts within an extended and specific time frame.
The skill of preparing media campaigns is considered one of the most important skills required in the media field, as media campaigns are commonly used in many fields such as political campaigns, advertising marketing campaigns, fundraising campaigns, health awareness campaigns, and safety and security campaigns. Media campaigns focus on changing the behaviors and actions of the target audience or changing the way certain things are viewed, usually by focusing on the strength of the impact of the media message and focusing on the process of evaluating the implemented media campaigns.

Course Content:

• Objective analysis: Understand the target audience and campaign objectives and determine the message to be conveyed.
• Develop a communication strategy: Determine the appropriate means of communication and appropriate channels to reach the target audience.
• Campaign planning: Develop a time plan to implement the campaign, determine the required resources, and determine the budget.
• Content creation: Developing advertising materials and appropriate content for the campaign in accordance with its message and target audience.
• Campaign execution: Implement the business plan and manage all aspects of the campaign including advertising, social media and public relations.
• Measure results: Evaluate the campaign’s performance and measure its success through key performance indicators such as the number of views, interactions, and sales.
