Farouk Dhili was appointed coach of the Algerian national handball team.
The Algerian Handball Federation officially announced the appointment of Farouk Dhili as the head coach of the first team during the upcoming African Cup period, succeeding the sacked Saleh Bouchkriou.
It is expected that the national voter will begin the team preparation period starting next week, as the Greens will participate in two external preparatory training sessions in Tunisia and Qatar, including a group of friendly matches in anticipation of the continental forum expected to take place between January 17 and 29 in Egypt.
The new national voter had previously led JS Skikda to achieve the national championship title twice and the Algerian Cup title for the first time in the team's history. He also previously supervised the under-21 national team during the years 2010 and 2011, and assumed a national technical position in 2017. He also worked in many Arab countries.
