The Union is licensed in England with No. 15639453. Its objective is to advance the profession of journalism and media in the Arab world and the world as a whole, and to enhance the role of journalists and media professionals as the main actors in democratic society, and to strive towards spreading the culture of freedom of expression, opinion and free pen, and cooperation between journalists, media professionals and cultural institutions, and the role of the press to create a balanced media environment committed to professional controls. And creating a safe and stable climate that enhances the freedom of the media and the press while preserving their professional rights.
